You can visit Turtle Research Centre and Turtle Sanctuary to get information and knowledge about turle. D'Pengkalan also known as birds lovers paradise. Malaysian Nature Society stated 16 types of birds can be seen at D'Pengkalan. They are Large-tailed Nightjar, Collared Kingfisher, Blue-tailed Bee Eater, Dollar Bird, Oriental Pied Hornbill, Common Golden Back, Pacific Swallow, Common Lora, Yellow Vented Bulbul, Common Myra, Black Naped Ovieole, Javan Myra, Brown Throated Sunbird, White-rumped Sharma, White Bellied Sea Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle
